Anusha Reddy
Biography: Anusha was brought up in Bengaluru, India, also known as the “Silicon Valley” of the country. She spends her leisure time hiking, practicing yoga, reading, and engaging in various arts and crafts. She calls UNC Charlotte her second home because it provides her with the right environment to advance her skills in a field that is constantly evolving. She enjoys Data Science because of its futuristic nature and its ability to have a large impact with a little creativity thrown in.
Degrees and Credentials: Before pursuing her PhD in Data Science, Anusha obtained a Master’s in Computer Science (with a concentration in Data Science) and a Bachelor’s in Computer Science (with a concentration in Data Science and a minor in Mathematics) from the University of North Carolina at Charlotte.
After graduating through the early entry program, she worked at Kingsmen Software as a full-stack developer. Then, she worked as an Adjunct Faculty at the College of Computing and Informatics, UNC Charlotte, teaching courses at both undergraduate and graduate levels.
Courses Taught: Foundations of Programming, Operating Systems and Networking, Human Centered Interaction, Web-Based Application Design and Development, Rapid Prototyping, Interaction Design Projects (studio)
Research Interests: Machine Learning in health care, and Human-Computer Interaction.
