Biography: Daniel Sanky is a Doctoral Candidate in the Department of Data Science. He grew up in New York and went to Cornell University, where he studied Information Science with a concentration in Data Science and minors in Business, Psychology, and Music. After graduating, he attended Weill Cornell Graduate School of Medicine, where he earned a Master of Science in Biostatistics and Data Science. His research has spanned predictive modeling for hospital care, health outcomes, and business intelligence.

Professionally, Daniel has worked as an Associate Data Scientist at IQVIA, where he analyzed complex pharmaceutical and healthcare marketing data. He has expertise in developing automated solutions for reporting and quality control, streamlining key operational processes, and visualizing data insights to advise organizational leadership.

In addition to his industry experience, Daniel is a passionate educator. He had served as a teaching assistant for numerous graduate courses at Weill Cornell and as an AI/ML Instructor at Inspirit AI, demonstrating his ability to effectively communicate complex technical concepts. He looks forward to continuing to hone his skills as a data scientist, educator, and researcher.
