Yue Zhang

Biography: Yue is a PhD student in Data Science at UNC Charlotte with an interdisciplinary background in biostatistics, urban planning, and civil engineering. Her recent work includes developing and applying statistical methods for right-censored data, investigating spatial and temporal relationships between urban vegetation and air quality, and analyzing large-scale healthcare and public health datasets. She loves hiking, exploring national parks, and cuddling with her cat in her free time.
